All DAE students end their studies with a final internship semester, right before they graduate. Needless to say, this is a big deal for all of them (and us), and often a great way to land their first job - in Belgium or abroad.

More than 150 senior DAE students are currently looking for an internship in the spring or autumn of 2020, and to help them out with the search, we organise a big internship fair in the first half of October. Each year, it turns into a massive event, where we get to reconnect with many DAE alumni and industry partners from all over Europe, and sometimes beyond.

This year, 147 industry colleagues from 66 companies in 8 different countries travelled to our campus The Level, to present their internships to our students. Once again, the offers showcased the wide range of organisations in which our graduates’ skills are in high demand, from AAA game studios, 3D and VFX production studios and large corporations to small indie studios, creative agencies and start-ups.

A massive thanks to our friends and partners at:

STUDY NIGHT: INFORMAL PORTFOLIO FEEDBACK

The night before the internship fair, we devoted our weekly Thursday study night to informal portfolio feedback sessions. All evening, DAE veterans and other industry professionals took over the tables in The Lounge to talk to students and review their portfolios, giving them tips and pointers for last-minute improvements on the portfolios they were going to show to the companies on Friday.

Thanks to everyone who put in their time and energy to make this another memorable event!
