Alumnus Seppe Vangrunderbeek had the chance to work on a movie with Harrison Ford (Star Wars, Indiana Jones)!
The Call of the Wild is the story of Buck, a dog who has to move from his sunny California home to the wild and snowy Yukon territory.
Buck is doing all sorts of stunts and therefor a digital double has been created. The most difficult part of a computer generated animal is the fur.
Seppe worked as a Technical Animator at MPC Montreal on the fur and cloth simulations for Buck, the sled and the other dogs, wolves, a grizzly bear.
Seppe now works as a Creature TD at Double Negative (DNEG) in Montreal Canada and we can't wait to see what he is working on there.
