In another remarkable year for Digital Arts & Entertainment, we are proud to announce our outstanding achievements at the Rookies Awards 2024, a prestigious competition recognising emerging talent in the digital arts and entertainment industry.
Thanks to the hard work, dedication, and creativity of our students and faculty, we have been recognized in several
highly competitive categories:
- 1st Place - Production Excellence: Mobile Games
- 2nd Place - Game Design & Development
- 4th Place - Production Excellence: Console Games
- 17th Place - Concept Art
- 19th Place - Top Creative Schools Worldwide
- 24th Place - Visual Effects
- 28th Place - 3D Animation
In addition, we are delighted to congratulate our second-year Independent Game Design students — Teodoras Utka, Dante Deketele, Badie Bakiri, Willem Hollants, David Javorcsik, and Farhat Fazeli — who won "Game of the Year: Mobile" for their game "Five Saves the Universe".

We would also like to highlight the recent recognition of our Howest Bachelor of Industrial Product Design, which was named the "Best Design School in the World" in the Product Design category and ranked 10th in the "Top Creative Schools Worldwide".
