This module focuses on teaching students the fundamentals of game art. Understanding readability and stylizing in games will be covered in-depth, with a focus on creating visually appealing art that works well in the context of the game. Students will also learn how to work within existing styles and use reference material and moodboards effectively.
We focus on the fundamental skills and techniques, building a strong foundational understanding for future courses. The results of the assignments are game ready assets, where the student goes trough the whole pipeline from reference to design, trough modeling unwrapping and texturing, ending with presentation.
