For their first assignment in the course 'Procedural Assets' our students had to build a procedural stair generator. The goal was to create a user friendly tool for Unreal Engine 4. The model is generated with a Houdini Digital Asset inside of Unreal, and textured with the help of a substance designer trim sheet. With the ability to change the shape and proportions but also the fine details (panels, cutline, patterns) a wide range of looks can be achieved.
