Game Design 2 provides a comprehensive understanding of game design through the lens of iterative design, based on the design thinking process. Building on their knowledge of C# programming, game engines, and core game design principles, students will learn to tackle complex challenges inherent in game development.
Throughout the course, students will engage in a continuous cycle of brainstorming, prototyping and testing, refining their ideas through structured iteration. They will analyze existing games, develop innovative mechanics, and document their design process to effectively communicate their concepts.
By the end of the course, students will have built a strong skill set in problem-solving and creative iteration, enabling them to navigate the complexities of game design and prototype unique gameplay experiences.
